yeah you have to try them out and see what one you like the best.
for forumotion i use phpbb2 becuase you have the option to do template editing,

But it just comes down to what works for you the best and which one you prefer.. you should get a test forum and try out all the different versions first, then when you know what one you like best simply change to that version on your main forum/site.

They will change as well along with the default icons, logos etc. of the new theme that you'll install to your forum.

yeah most will.
Thats why it would be in your best interest to get a test forum and test things first,
then when you have something you like and the version you want to stick with you can go with that.

ok but where can i get a test forum

lol

forumotion.com

you just create another forum with a different email address, and use that forum just as a test forum.
I have a few test forums and i usually will always title them as a test forum. it's up to you what you want to call it, just be sure you still go there time to time when you are not testing anything so it dose not get deleted for inactivity.

yeah it's all in your gallery options.

Admin panel>Modules>Gallery>

then set all the options how you wish.

configuration,management>personal albums etc.
