How do i upload themes from my PC ?

Hi,

I am not good in themes & want to change theme for my forum. I have visited hitskin.com for themes but did not like from them. As there are many themes available at websites regarding phpbb2,phpbb3 etc. How do i upload the themes which i downloaded from any site ?

My forum version is : phpbb3

Hi, you can only install themes from HitSkin or if they are in the .bbtheme format.

.bb theme format means ?

That means it,s not possible to apply skin by uploading ?

.bbtheme format is the format given to themes when they are exported from your forum. It is possible to apply a theme by importing it, but it must be in .bbtheme format.

I have downloaded some themes but they are in .cfg format so how could i change it in .bb format, so that i can upload & apply ?

As far as I know, you can't change it.

so should i search for themes having .bbformat ? they are available on sites ?

The only themes I believe that have the .bbtheme format are the ones on HitSkin. But it doesn't hurt to give it a search.
