Solved Profile words in wrong place

Post by Suuki April 28th 2011, 8:17 pm

I'll try to explain this best I can. Just now after entering my forum I noticed something on everyone's profile that was not there yesterday, at least I don't think it was. To explain my point here is a picture.

Profile words in wrong place Msf84

If you see all the profile options are in the wrong place. I don't know if the theme maker intended it to be that way, if it's a glitch, or a mistake. I just want to reverse it. Would I need to edit my templates? If I must, can I have a detailed explanation of how to do this.

Hi, I know the reason as to why it's like that. It's because of the CSS code provided here: https://help.forumotion.com/t89498-how-to-move-nav-bar-a-bit-lower

If you remove the code given to you, you can reverse the effect, but then your navigation bar will also be much higher. :/

Oh, I'm so glad I thought I was going crazy, it wasn't like that yesterday...
If I can't move my navbar down without this happening can I move my banner up?
Thanks for all your help.

One done pulls the other.
You can remove that code I gave you first time and than FIND this in CSS
Code:
#i_logo {
    margin-bottom: -102px;
    margin-top: -18px;
}

Your margins will be -162, you have to change it to -102 not to effect your profile prefrences.
This will be your resault, and it wont affect profile prefrences.

It will move navigation.

Just today I was taking a look at my css to find the code to fix it. I found the code and fixed it. After that I came here to post how to fix it and then I saw Nera's post.
Lol, I guess I found the answer on my own. (it just took a lot longer....)
Thank you all!
