When click 'edit', see finished form of post / editing not possible

[color=purple]When I click "edit", I see a finished form of the post in the text box,

instead of the text and bb/code. So editing is not possible. And we are down. HEEELP!

Yikes, it's happening here too.

Okay I cleaned my computer and re-booted. The problem is still there.

HERE, when I click "edit", I get a pop-up that tells me my browser's security settings don't allow editing. What is that about? I made no changes to my browser. (but I'll go look at it.

Look, all I want to know is if this is just you guys doing maintenance or something,

or if I have a problem someone knows how to fix.

I have a dfeadline to meet, and am down. When click 'edit', see finished form of post / editing not possible Icon_eek

Alright. There are no settings that have been changed in my browser (firefox)

But when I posted this comment, I got a pop-up that said:
"Because of your browser security settings, the editor is not able to access your clipboard data directly. You are required to paste it again in the following box using the keyboard (Ctrl/Cmd+V) and hit OK"

????

btw, my profile here will not allow me to change my e-mail address,

(so I won't be notified when I get an answer,

because my addesss has changed, and I need to change it in my profile here)

*shrug* sometimes I dont see things. Am I missing something?

Alright, I tried another browser (internet explorer) and it does it too. So it's you guys.

Could you let me know when this will be fixed?

NOTE:We have a member (an admin) who remains logged in even after logging out.
Has our security been compromised? Is this related to the problems we're having? (I changed her passowrd, but she's still logged in no matter what we do.)

Alright, this is all starting to seem very complicated to me,
and I apologize for that, but when not logged in, I am able to see admin's profiles
(we have two) and they both say "logged in", on friend's list. Both admin accounts are
me, and originate from the same computer and IP. Is that creating this particular problem?

So to recap, I have three problems today:

1- At my forum, I can't edit (see finished form of posts in edit boxes)

2- Admin remains logged in after logging out. Has security been compromised?

3- And here at this forum, I can't change my e-mail address.

Bold and coloured text is reserved for staff only when they moderate, such as this message, please keep to the default font size and colour in future.

Also, posting consecutively is not tolerated unless separated by 24 hours since the last post. In future, please use the edit button.

1. You will need to take a screenshot so we can see what the exact problem is.

3. You will need to ask an admin here to change your email address.

Well, it wouldn't let me edit, but I will keep that (and about use of bold, colored and sized text) in mind, Sorry.

I can't show you a screen of the edit box problem, because it has resolved itself.
So also has the issue with our admin remaining logged in after logging out.
(That was seen in the "Who's Online?" widget, like this:

She would remain logged in, according to the widget, and also on friend's lists, in profiles, she showed up as "online".

But that issue has disappeared now too.

Perhaps the two issues were related? I don't know.
But thank you for being here. It's great not to be alone in this.
I think I should wait one hour before reporting any problems in the future, so I don't bother you needlessly.

(Oh, and as to the additional problem of not being able to edit a post here, I found an announcement that you were working on the message editor currently. So, again, sorry. I should look first, and wait an hour. And I will. Thank you.
