Theme doesn't overwrite previous Empty Theme doesn't overwrite previous

Post by larsn84 May 4th 2011, 4:05 pm

Hi

We are having problems installing skins from hitskin. When we install the skin, it is only some of the parts that are being replaced. It is not only with one skin. Tried like 20 of them now.

Recording to the css style (text-edit) the skin is set to get pictures from random directories, but it doesn't.

You can take a look here. We never had problems before, until today.

some of the bagground images are missing

I have also found this in the css sheet.

"/* Keeping old styles for h2 for legacy */"

thanks in advance

I also have this problem when trying to install a new skin. I wonder what's the cause of it.

Install skins directly from hitskin.com & not from your admin panel.

I have the same problems. I tried to restore my previous theme. It shows the previous theme in the preview, but when I go back to the forum, it still shows the Christmas Theme I tried today?
I also just tried to do a Theme Back-up, and a Full Back-up to two days ago. This theme will not leave my forum?
I also exported my previous theme to my computer before trying the new one. When I try to import it it says : INFORMATION
Import Ended.

That is what I used. The theme I want to restore to, shows up in the preview box, (that was my original theme) and it says it was restored, but it isn't. It shows the theme I don't want with elements of my original theme. "New Topic," "Post Reply" buttons, etc. What the fuck ?!?

Now the forum is showing up with elements of two Christmas Themes I tested, and my original one, and changes between all three of them at random?
