HTML is not working on my forum
HTML is not working on my forum. None of the codes are coming up to post pictures. I cannot get the HTML to respond in the AP to set up "multi forums in one" or anything eles, my members cannot get codes in comment box either. None of the icons in the HTML are responding. I went to another formation blog site and everything worked fine. I would really appreciate if someone would respond to this!

I also would be interested in a response because i am getting the same thing!!
Re: HTML is not working on my forum
I can't see anything wrong on your forum .... what specifically isn't working?!
If you can't add images to posts, maybe you havent allowed HTML in the admin panel
Check Admin panel - General - Messages & Emails - Configuration Allow HTML :
Yes No
Should be yes if you want HTML to work on posts

@lisa
My HTML does not work at all in the AP. None of the icons work/respond same thing in the comment box. A lot of members can't post codes, or pics. I've check all my setting, and they're all set right. It seem to happen after the forum owners switch set-up the other day.

@Base
Yes, I check my setting. Everything is check yes for HTML. I read the above the other day and checked to make sure. I've looked and looked at threads here to try and find a solution but, have not been successful. Thank you anyway.
I'm trying to set-up "multi-forums-in-one" but, i can't get the HTML box in the AP to work/respond. I activate the WYSIWYG too. HTML is not responding period.

Re: HTML is not working on my forum
Thank you for responding Sanket....I am unable to use firefox.
I have numerous members with this problem. The HTML does not respond at all in the AP and some of my member's cannot get the icons in comment box to respond.
The below is from my one of my members.
I can't post pics or you tube anymore. I insert into the box but when I click ok, nothing happens.

Re: HTML is not working on my forum
Hi there,
Same problem on my side. Even though HTML is enabled in my site, it doesn't seem to be working for some of my members, who just see raw codes.
Please fix this ASAP!

Maker sure you have the html set in your profile preferences as well.
Have it set to always allow html then hit save,
Admin panel>profile>profile preferences.
Once the founder sets this it should work for the rest of your members, if not then be sure to tell them to set it there as well.
As far as the admin html, if you are not seeing the icon it's a browser issue, if you can not get Firefox to work then i suggest you try another browser other then internet explorer that will,
What version of IE are you using? be sure it is all up to date as well.
Other then that, to create sanket a test admin account,
He means create another member account on your forum. place it in the admin group, then send him the user name and pass so he can check things out for you, once he is fished yo0u can either delete the account or just change the user name and pass.

Re: HTML is not working on my forum
Kirk, a few members on my site are experiencing this glitch and they all have checked their settings. In fact, they have never touched them!
HTML is enabled by default on my site. Checked the setting in the Admin Panel.
It's not a browsers problem. People using Firefox, IE and Safari have reported it, actually. It has nothing to do with the HTML icon in the AP... it's just that what's written on a post or signature using HTML is being seen as raw code for these people. Do you understand what the problem is?
4 different people, managing different forums, using different browsers and versions are having this problem. It's definitely a glitch.

Re: HTML is not working on my forum
be sure the are allowing the html in there options when posting, also check their profile preferences and make sure they have always allow html checked off.
Other then that post or pm your link and i will have to register and test my self, unless you want to set up a temp test account and send me the user name and pass.

Re: HTML is not working on my forum
Hit that a/A button & then add the code.
Moreover, i had disabled html on your forum for security reasons earlier. Hope you remember.
Use bbcode, it should be fine then.
