Chrome member not able to see HTML in posts

I have enabled HTML on my forum because I need to embed different kinds of media. Unfortunately, my member using Chrome web browser only see the HTML codes. Is there any way to fix this?

Yes tell them to go to their profile>profile preferences and select
(always allow html) and hit save.

The member said he have already done this.

i dont know.. is it a post he is posting or trying to view another post with html in it,

and is the html working for you and your other members.

tell him to try with a different browsers or to make sure his browser is up to date and has the plug-ins up to date as well.

But up to date or not he should not be seeing just the html code, unless he dose not have the html option on.. if it was something with his plug-ins then it would come up and say he needs to install update plugging..

Other then that i would have to go in and see for my self.. open a board to guest and place the same html code in it and i will go there in chrome .

you can even tell him to log out then check the post open to guest and see if he sees it then.. if he dont see the html code anymore and what ever it is is working for him as a guest, then you know he dont have his html on in his profile when logged in as a member..

Thanks for all the good suggestions. It is other peoples' posts with HTML he cannot see properly. Here are a couple of examples:

link two all i get is a login page?

can you open a board for guest and post something with html in a thread and allow guest to post as well so i can test a html of my own.

If not then not sure what it can be.

Link one should have shown you a post that displays the contents of another web page embedded.

Do you have any other users on Chrome?
If this is the issue I'm thinking it is, then it's not an issue of ForuMotion, but a mere lack of full HTML5 support on Google's end.

yeah i would update chrome or tell them to try or use a different browser.
this day and age you have to have a few browsers for when you come across things like this.

other then that i will have to test it again on my end.

I just downloaded the latest Chrome and tested it out myself, and it works! So I figure he has either not enabled HTML or has an outdated version of Chrome. I will find out about this and post back here when I do.

Ask him to enable html in his profile>Preferences

It turns out he hadn't enabled HTML after all. Now everything works.
