Forum too wide for a user....
So my mate is using our forum, and he says its too wide for him. He has a computer resolution of 1024 X 768. The forum he looked at and was too wide was our testing forum.
The odd thing is, it looks perfect for the four people that came on it (apart from him). I thought it might be a computer problem, but he sees our main forum fine. (and its wider in forum size)
Here are the two pictures he sent:
1) https://2img.net/r/ihimg/f/860/error1o.png/
2) https://2img.net/r/ihimg/photo/my-images/217/error2ir.png/
Please help guys! Im planning on releasing the new forum today, but can't if its too wide for a user or two. Want it prefect.
Thanks,
PW

When setting up forum wide, make it in % not pixels

Im not sure if this is what you mean't, but do you mean, go to:
admin panel > general > Forum > Configuration - then scroll down to forum structure
I go their, and I see Forum width (number or %) : 75 %

Re: Forum too wide for a user....
EDIT:
I looked in CSS again and found it!
.pun {
width: 1100px;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 10px;
padding-top: 0px;
I changed width: 90%, and it messed everything up. (out of place)
-----------------------
It doesn't work for him.
Im sure their code somewhere in CSS.

Re: Forum too wide for a user....
I dont know whats the problem, its perfectly good here. I m using same resolution as your friend 1024x768, everything is is place
Edit: I used Firebug to see your css, it seems that you dont have width under the body tag...
search for body {
then add width: 90% under it

Re: Forum too wide for a user....
Right, thats strange.
It must be his computer settings. What do you think the issue may be on the settings part?
---------
EDIT: I added the tag, hopefully it works.
Thanks!
