This a pm I wrote to Typlo:

I was referred to you by MrMario, here's my problem. This is the address to my old forum that I deleted in December 2010, using the utility only gives me the option to restore it back to February 2011.

http://psychopathicrydaz.forumotion.com/portal.htm

but each time I try to re-activate it takes me to,

http://psychopathicrydaz.forummotion.com

and that is not my site, it is in fact a site a member of my site started to play around with the mechanics. Notice the 2 m's in forumotion? I've tried 4-5 times and each time is the same result. So my question is, is it gone for good? If not how do I get it back because I seem to need some professional to intervene.

So my question is, since Typlo is no longer with forumotion who do I get referred to fix my delima?

well wait?

this is the portal link
http://psychopathicrydaz.forumotion.com/portal.htm
it's not going to a portal though.. so may be the portal is no longer activated/not on

and this is the main.
http://psychopathicrydaz.forummotion.com

What ever the case they are indeed the same forum.

So now your saying this is not your forum?
Is that the address you getting when you log in to utilities?
if so then it is your forum, or you have access to your friends forum... lol

So i dont know what forum you are trying to find?

Unless you deleted your forum, then your friend or someone else created a new forum with the previous address.

If thats the case then i do not see how you would be able to get the deleted forum back considering the forum was deleted, thus the address was no longer being used and someone else created another forum with the same address?

or wait???

i would go directly to your admin panel from utilities, hit preview to preview the forum and see if it's the same.. if not, then your forum is still there and in tact, your just going to have to change the address.

It sounds strange and confusing but i had something like this happen to me before, some how someone create a forum with my exact address/sub domain.. but when i went to utilities/logged in then went directly to the acp from utilities.. i was in my forums acp. and i had to change the address then everything was fine..

So it's long shot but try that.

I am thinking technically your forum was deleted, then someone created a forum with the same address you had so now thats the forum thats going to come up with the address.
However your forums data is still there and you will have to change the address in your acp becuase two forums can not share the same address.

Or at least thats my theory for now... ROTFL P Razz Razz Razz Razz

If not then we will have to run it by the godfather :

They are very close to being identical as layout goes but they are very different, my site has so much more content. As matter of fact my site has this header/logo:
Help retrieving a deleted forum Pr_log10

and not this one:
Help retrieving a deleted forum Bandan10

The forum I get when I log in to the utilities is indeed http://psychopathicrydaz.forumotion.com (with 1 M) but when I click to go to the site I get http://psychopathicrydaz.forummotion.com (with 2 M's)

anyone hungry for M&M's lol

I do not nor did I ever create an account to even access my friends forum.

I deleted my forum about 4-6 months after my friend created that mirror image of my forum.

I recently created a new forum and used my old address to see if it was used and it is not in use.

Okay I understand what you are saying by logging into the admin panel and changing the address, however as I stated before when I attempt to do this it takes me to my friends website. Since I'm not even a member of my friends site................. I can't.

Obviously you put alot of thought into your response and I appreciate that, thanks for trying to help!
