There's no way that a member can add an ad, it would have to go through an administrator of the forum first, which would be you. The best way to do this is to add a HTML Widget, and then add an image and a seller link that would take the user to a thread where they are selling things. There's no widget that you can sell things on forumotion.

So where can i find a good html widget that would do this. Ill just add the ads as we go.
OK so im looking for a Html code that is already made that i can copy & paste.
I've tried making my own but they all get out of whack when writing in the descriptions.
thanx Brett.

Hey i have a classifieds section on my forum, I have done it with the gallery and it works great. Its not very full at the moment which is a bit annoying but here is a link to my forum, you should be able to check it out without having to sign up or anything.
www.leopardgeckoforum.com
There is a link in the navbar to it, and also if you scroll down to the bottom you will see it.
