Post by davidl June 15th 2011, 1:28 am

my site has been hacked into by someone, i tried to log in to admin and i couldnt log in so i clicked lost password and it told me the "send password to admin and mods" had been disallowed, i got one of my admins to go into the admin panel and clcik yes so i could have my password reset and now im back on site......what can i do to lock these hackers out besides now clicking the disalow new password to be sent out ?

what does Confirm password to administration access : "yes" or "no" mean ?

thanks anyone, this is urgent or they can ruin my site

Confirm password is that you need to confirm it to log into the admin panel after logging in.

If your site is hacked you can always use: https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/ to back it up. change all your staff passwords and turn confirm password for more security.
