Help Please!!! Registered members "do not exist"
Hello,
I started this forum for my gaming alliance and there are some issues. First, some people are having a hard time logging in. I have it set to "auto-activation" and even though they are on the members list/page it says they don't exist when logging in. Also, I cannot add them to the various groups created because they "don't exist" even though, again, they are on the members list/page. I have had them clear their cache (chrome, mozilla & IE) to no avail. Why is this? How can they be in the members yet not exist?
Thanks for your time

Check to see if they are active or inactive in your administration panel.

Hello,
Are you sure that they have registered successfully?
Also Please check this settings carefully:
Admin Panel > Users & Groups > User Options > 'New accounts Activation' : Set it to 'Automatic Activation' > Save
Check for inactive members too:
Admin Panel > Users & Groups > Inactive users > Look for inactive users there and activate their account
Also, try a few of this links:

Resynchronize your forum:

If that doesn't solve your problem, can we have your forum link?

Yup, but for some reason they are coming in as guests... I have set everything to members only and only certain groups can see what pertains to them though. I thought that made it so you can't get in and post if not logged in.

Make them sure that they are filling in the correct information on the registration page.
