Are we allowed to put our own goolge ads?

I know this question was asked before example here
https://help.forumotion.com/other-problems-f46/are-we-allowed-to-place-our-own-advertisements-t6419.htm

but that one was about Amazon ads..

What i'm talking here is own goolge ads.

I saw the post said

You can place these ads, but under these conditions :
1- You must disable the default Google ads. For this, you have to use the points management in Admin Panel > Misc. > Points management (NOTICE : you must use your founder account to see it)
2- You must declare it to the CNIL since Forumotion is under the French laws. Here's their English Web page : http://www.cnil.fr/index.php?id=4

but does it apply for own google ads.?
and do i have to declare it at the CNIL site. If yes, Can some one teach me how to declare brcause i'm kinda blur on how to navigate the CNIL site.

Thank you.
Yours politely,
-azureskydreamer-

Well , if you want to apply your own google ads , you will have to pay money for each month.
To apply Google Ads ( with pay money ) :http://www.google.com/ads/
To add free: http://www.google.com/addurl

Check this out: Admin panel > Misc > Points management > Current situation: Ads are disabled. If you wish to contribute, you can activate theme by yourself thanks to this option. > Yes

If you don't see the option for that , you can go back to the Admin Homepage , and in the middle click:
Advanced

Well the money from the google ads are for forumotion not for your account. Otherwise how could forumotion keep providing us with free forums?

okay if i activate that. Meaning i support the forum. then i add my own in too. But not on the site that they place. But in my posts. It is Okay to do that. I saw some other forum on forumotion doing that so i thought i better ask if its acceptable. if it is. Then only i will do it.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm grateful to you all.

I think I never try this before , but you can add Google ads into your forum , and you can get money.
