Splitting and merging
I have a thread which a new member has started a dispute on which i would like move to a different thread.
How can I move the bottom 4 postings to another thread

Go to the topic then, click the 'split' button, then select the posts you want to move and split, then give a topic title and the forum it should be in.

Than you can only merge the new split topic to the one you want.

Im a bit baffled here :
In the the quick mod tools Im selecting split topic -> ticking the cells on the postings to split -> Ive then tried both options at the bottom -> But get " you must specify a subject when you post a new thread....
Is it my permissions

No. Specify the tile. It will make a new topic with your splitted posts. Than you can merge that topic with wich ever you want.

I will take a screen shot and that might help.

I do not get to veiw this section of mgt98 instructions all I get is Information the error as advised and my banner and the top of my forum details
