GRAPHIC "SIMILAR TOPICS"!!!
Please take a look at what a member of mine took a screenshot of that showed up on my site that showed up under "Similar Topics"
I know forumotion is part of advertising, but I seriously think you guys need to look into this! Especially with RPG sites like mine that have underage members. If you need a direct link to the site thread this was posted in, let me know, but I WILL be taking it down shortly.
I deactivated the traffic exchange through the Panel, but PLEASE find a way from this trash being a part of forumotion.
Thank you

Re: GRAPHIC "SIMILAR TOPICS"!!!
The post itself is not the issue. Its members joking around. It doesn't pertain to the issue at hand at all.
It's what appeared in the Similar Topics section that had everyone upset. I thought it best since it was regarding such graphic nature that forumotion should be notified as soon as possible.

Yes I agree. Is there a way to possibly delete the similiar topics? I haven't had this problem on my forums.

In the Panel, you click "General"--->"Traffic Exchange"--->Activate Exchange comes up and click "No", then Save

Re: GRAPHIC "SIMILAR TOPICS"!!!
Hi,
The similar topics works on a engine that is unique to each page.
For those words to show up, they must of been mentioned once, or more times within that page. The more regularly it's said on that page, the higher the chance of such coming up.
For example, "Similar topics" is quite common on this page, so 3/5 topics show something related to "Similar Topics".
Are those words mentioned in that page by any chance?
If so, simply remove them.
You can also prevent the use of such words via a censor.
Admin panel >> General > Word Censor.

If those links were to other Forumotion forums, then they need to be reported.

No sexual words were used at all in the thread. It was a member introducing herself and by the 5th post, that's when the those particular "Similar Topics" were seen and screenshot by another member who was about to post her hello post.
The ONLY possible "term" I can see that may have triggered it was the term "skirt chaser", which if anyone here is familiar with Final Fantasy 9, that's a common joke said to Zidane, which was who the comment was directed to.
Which to me leads to a greater concern that even the most innocent of words and terms are now being connected to links that not only promote such sick and disgusting links, but also downright illegal acts.
I knew forumotion wouldn't wish to be connected to anything of such nature, so I felt it should reported, as well as letting everyone else who has a site be more aware of what "forms" of advertising are trying to leak through any kinds of filters forumotion may have.
Thanks for the advice. I already closed the "Similar Topics" from coming up, but if I see any form of such advertising also appear in the header of the site, I'll let it be known as well.

Re: GRAPHIC "SIMILAR TOPICS"!!!
The term 'skirt chaser' actually sounds really bad if you don't understand the context like me... so that's why those links MAY have showed up, but I am not 100% sure. Since you've already closed the similar topics feature and promised to report any illegal forums, can we consider this problem as solved?
Re: GRAPHIC "SIMILAR TOPICS"!!!
*nods* Correct. I immediately deactivated the "similar topics" before posting here.
Just wanted everyone alerted and aware of the situation, so they also knew to keep watch over their own sites, as well as keeping forumotion informed.
Thank you for the swift attention and reply.

My apologies. I used the search engine in regards to the topic issue, but only found threads that explained what to do in the Admin Panel.
