Two Recent Topic Widgets

Hi, I just want to know if it is possible to have two recent topic widget lists, one for the forum and another for the portal. I want the portal one to scroll and be small, while the forum widget version is larger and is stationary.

Is that possible? Whenever I edit the widget inside the forum in the Admin panel the portal one changes and vice verse. Thanks for any help!

I think you might have to make another widget because if u just edit the one widget it will change them both on the forum and the portal

That's what I've realized. How would I go about doing that though? I tried adding two of the recent topic widgets in the panel, but it wouldn't allow it.

I also tried creating another recent topic widget through the addition of existing widgets, but that didn't work either.

I was looking at that shortly after i posted and I don't believe there is a way to do that.

There is apparently. I came across a forum which had both a scrolling and stationary widget. The scrolling one was tiny and the stationary one was tall and large.

Can anyone else confirm this or what should be done?

no, it's not possible.

But somehow one of forumotion's sites that I was browsing through, had both features.

They had a larger recent topic list and a tiny scrolling list right below it.

I suppose this is not possible and therefore solved, but I don't want to add the solve tag just yet, just in case. I could've sworn I've seen a site or three with two different recent topic widgets, which acted independent from one another.
