Why do I have to type www. to have the site redirect to my domain name without forumotion in it?

So i changed the CNAME for my personal domain to stealingblinds.forumotion.com and then i entered www.stealingblinds.com in the personalized domain name, it accepts it....

my question is, when i type just stealingblinds.com it redirects to http://stealingblinds.forumotion.com/ but when i type in www.stealingblinds.com it goes to my forum still but it doesnt have the .forumotion in the url.... how can i make it where people can just type in stealingblinds.com and it goes to www.stealingblinds.com and not www.stealingblinds.forumotion.com/

I just tried http://www.stealingblinds.com/ and it worked fine. Also works for the link without the www. It does take some time for the new or changing links to be added to the database.

yeah it does work without the www. but the url name changes at the top, it will say http://stealingblinds.forumotion.com/ and not http://www.stealingblinds.com/

I am wondering if you can get rid of that, where it will just say http://www.stealingblinds.com/ (no more forumotion)

I don't think i am sure what to do about it when you buy the domain name from Go Daddy. You should probably ask help from them.

why would i ask them when i am sending the information from forumotion? you really dont know what the issue is or? im confused, sorry.
