User groups? Empty User groups?

Post by Alexiell December 10th 2007, 3:42 am

i currently have 5 user groups and they each have different restrictions and access areas Admin(full) Moderators(can mod things) Registered (a full player but no mod powers) Processing (1 under registerd can access most of the board, post in some areas) and unregistered ( can see most things but can't post)

is there a way when a person registers to automatically put them in the unregistered group? or a way to put restrictions on newly created accounts untill i put them in a certain group?

thanks!

if you are approving registrations, i believe you can add them to groups before activating them?

Sorry but there is no way to automatically register a person to a group(when that person registers on your forum). You have to add them manually. And for the second question it's also a no. As far as I know you can't put restrictions on a person until you add them to a group.
