He means that when you choose what type of forum you want (Invision, PunBB, phpbb2,3) you should be able to choose MyBB as an option.

If FM adds adjusted MyBB platform, we would not be able to add plugins (Same as phpbb - we have it on FM but can't add official PhpBB plugins because we don't have access to the database). So what's the purpose? Different design? If you have good knowledge of CSS and HTML + javascript, you can make wonders, even without MyBB.

Well, updates would not be as universal such as the points system FM has. There would definitively be some gaping gaps here.
