Domain name?

I'm thinking about buying a domain name, but I've been hearing that you can't and that people are having problems with it. Before I spend money i was just wondering if anyone could clear this up. Note: I haven't bought it yet.

What problems are you talking about??

Domain Name transfer code is temporarily shut. - It Just means, domain names bought from Forumotion, cannot be moved to another registrar like Go Daddy if you want to. Thats the current position.
