Delete Forum, Inactive Admin

Hello,

I'm the admin of a particular forum that has not been used since at least last year. Now, when googling the main topic, it appears ahead of other, current results. So, I need to delete this forum to remove it from google search engines. However, my admin account is inactive, and I cannot access the admin panel. What are the steps to resolving this issue?

If you knew your admin username and password, you can still access the admin panel even it is inactive. However, google will remove it to search engine until it is completely removed and will take time to be removed.

I know my username and password, however it keeps telling me my username is inactive. Approximately how long would it take to be totally removed from google?

Your username is inactive? So it means you are not the founder of your forum and the admin put you in inactive. I don't have idea how long would it take. Google will not easily remove it.

I am the admin. This isn't the first time this has happened to me either - apparently even admins can go inactive if you don't log into them for some time.

I've contacted a staff member about resetting the password. Hopefully that will resolve this.

Have you tried using the 'direct connection to admin panel tool' in the forum utilities: https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/ ?

You will need your founding credentials to use it. Smile

I've got a similar problem. I can log in into the founder utilities/tools and I can log in into my forum. I am in the Administrators group. But I don't get access to the Administration panel.
I can't remember my Admin account password and I'm unable to request a new one, even when I change the settings of the "tools" page.
Additional problem is that I can't send a pm request for help, unless I've made two posts in here first. Smile
