Unable to post at all in forum

Hi there

Created a new forum and trying to get it working, but I cann't even make a post on the forum I created.I have disabled the blocking people from posting for a week option, but can't find anything else that would be locking it. There is no links at all on the forum for posting either.

mine says at bottem forum locked how do i take it off make it unlocked

you have it locked.

Go to admin panel>general>forums

go to the forum that is locked in the list and click on the orange gear/actions icon.

then change (Forum status) from locked to unlocked and hit save

I am still not sure if omitchell problem is the same thing or not.
Like sanket said what kind of error message are you getting?
