Locked out of my own forum. Please help. :/

Hello...

I'm NightStarX, the administrator of the forum http://cxauniverse.4umer.com

My problem is that I've become locked out of the forum, and can't sign in. I had a pretty wretched day today which resulted in my entire hard drive and my laptop being completely destroyed (which is already pretty bad to begin with...), but my password was always recorded on the login, so I always had it in a wordpad file on my desktop... which is now gone along with everything else after my format...

Anyway, it was something annoyingly complicated which I didn't even bother to recall, just being lazy really, and I also seem to have kept new members from signing up (because it is mainly a discussion forum between known friends of mine) and now that I try to get back in, I notice that I seem to have disallowed email recoveries.

So, I had to make an account to beg for some help on this. I can't log back in, or get my password reset to me, or just sign in as a new account. I believe the email associated with the account is the same as this one... nightstarx@hotmail.com. Please help. It's been a generally horrible day for me, having already lost a hard drive. Thanks.

You can try logging in through Forum Utilities, but you'll need your founding password.

Best bet is to check your email in which the forum was founded and you should be able to obtain your full info

Unfortunately, I deleted that email as well as most of the ones in that account almost a year ago after I had thought I securely had the password put down, somewhere else.

...............well, then it really does seem as if my entire forum is lost. *sigh*

Did you try i forget my password on the loggin ?

if you can't get in that way.. PM a moderator to contact an Admin to send you out a temp password

Thanks, but it seems that I disabled the ability to have forgotten passwords sent in the options prior to getting locked out, and also I am the only Admin or Mod on that forum, which means the only one I could ask on that forum is myself.

Unless, do you mean PM'ing MrMario, Sanket, or Joph25? Is it for contacting other mods on my board? Because I never Adminnned anyone else or anything. Up to this point, on my forum, I was the only one.
