Can't Renew/Delete/Change Domain Name
It lists in the Credits Management > Domain Name section that I can delete my domain name whenever I want, though there is no section in which I can do that. I would like to do SOMETHING AT ALL relating to my domain name. It says in my admin panel that it is NOT expired, but the domain name is up for sale! At this point, I could SERIOUSLY care less about renewing the previously purchased domain name. But - it sure would be nice to CHANGE the domain name, as I paid enough cash money to purchase the credits to do so.
My previous thread was locked without any solution offered.

This is a serious problem, and I expect a serious and courteous response.
Extra information:
* I am not the original founder, but I am the current founder of my forum.
* I was not notified of the expiration, either via email or by notice in the administration panel.
* Credits management section shows that my domain is still current (not expired).

Login into the forum using the old forumotion address & renew the domain name from there.

Re: Can't Renew/Delete/Change Domain Name
I have a question with regards to the domain name changes. I have a purchased domain name and still have 200+ days left on it. I actually want to change the domain name to another domain name that I want to purchase but I am confused and trying to keep this process simple for myself and all my members.
As I see it I can cancel the current paid domain name and the forum will revert to the original address. Then I assume I have the ability to purchase the new domain name and must wait the 72 hour time frame for approval before I can apply the new domain to my site.
This means I need to tell all my members that must use the old domain, and tell them again they must change to the new domain. This will confuse members for sure.
Is there not a way for me to purchase the new domain name and simply once approved swap it into the current one with out backing out to the old address?
The current site domain is http://www.nightowlsgaming.com

Re: Can't Renew/Delete/Change Domain Name
Hi,
That is all correct except for the time - it's 72 hours, of business days, meaning if you purchase on a Friday-Sunday, it will take a little bit longer, if you purchase from the administration panel.
The way you wish isn't possible unfortunately
However, what you CAN do is purchase the domain on an external registrar and once the current domain is removed, redirect your externally purchased domain.
This tutorial will explain how to do it.
