Description of problem

I cannot find a thread for this, so here goes.

Also thank you in advanced. I love forumotion, please don't ever change it.

#1 I would like to have more widgets available on my mobile version. Especially the affiliates widget. Is there a code for this?

#2 I would like to make another personal widget that has the link to mobile version on the webpage. I cannot copy the proper link that's available at the bottom of the web version. Nor can I find it anywhere else to use.

A lot of people are used to other platforms and if they switch to Web version on a phone. That tiny link at the bottom is hard to find in order to get back to mobile. A widget is ideal for people with small screens.

Just trying to be as user friendly as possible to increase traffic. My forum is for educational purposes.

PWA App setup information

Description of problem

#1. Under modules> PWA. It gives the option to set up the App. Issue is I cannot find any information about "Manage your digital Links JSON file" what fo I need to do with that and is there anything else I need to do in order to run the App?

#2: Will it function with Duck Duck Go browser's as well?

In the above link, our situation is point #2. Our founder passed away in September last year. We have begun the process, but are not making much headway. Hopefully we can resolve it in the coming days.

Choosing A Founder Replacement If You Pass Away

Yes, I have read all that, which lead me to OP seeking clarification.

There would be an agreement between the original founder (me) and new founder to take over, but it's only if I pass away unexpectedly. Therefore I would not be able to change the email on the forum/founder tools or give them the password. Is saying as much on a public topic on our forum showing our agreement between him and me enough for forumotion to uphold it? Or does it defer to #2 or #3 options, with a 6-month waiting period - and more importantly - other admins/members having to vote who gets the Founder powers? I do not want to leave a power vacuum in my wake, I want to have a smooth transition enforced when I name the successor of the forum.

Lastly, in this process, does the new founder have to take over / change my actual account, so all my posts are now under their new name? There is no way to transfer the Founder powers to their account or a brand new account so that my original founder account remains intact? Or it just gets wiped away like I never existed?

Dice results problem

We have a problem with dices.
We have dice enabled, several different types added. The problem occurs when throwing them. Although the option to add #2 dice displays, users can add another dice, the result of only one throw appears in the post. We have done tests, only the administrator can throw more than one type of dice in a post.
Could anyone please help us out?

How to add text to the bottom of articles?

How to see "the members post" in topic

Scenario 1

There is a novel, subject publisher, name A (#1, user_id=20)
A In the same topic (t00001-topic), and publish chapters #2, #3, #4, #5....

Some people saw A's novel and liked it very much, so reply to the message to support #6, #7, #8

And A continues to publish his novel #9, #10, #11

However, there are other people who don't like to see other people's posts in the topic (t00001-topic), but only want to see the author's post (user_id=20)).

At this time, they need to have a button.

Zeo Activity Points Forum Issues

Admin help, please ...

Yes - I'm not here to cause static or give admins and mods greif - I'm just looking for information so I can figure things out. I just can't seem to get an answer for a few questions about this. I don't know where else to ask.

So ... this is a new issue to me, this making my forum essentially non-working because of low activity points.  (I Still don't know how many "activity points" are needed to resolve this. Question #1)

My problem ..
I have already pre-paid forumotion to have ads removed up to September 2020.
Also I have pre-paid forumotion for the custom domain name through September 2020.

My forum is now totally usless because portal does not direct to forum or vice-versa, among other issues, because of low "activity points"  
(Catch 22 - forum messed up because of low "activity". Low activity because forum messed up.)

Question #1 - (I've looked in the rules https://help.forumotion.com/c4-about-forumotion
But I don't seem to find anything about this - maybe I missed something).
Can anyone tell me where can I find out exactly how many views per day/week/month or posts per day/week/month we need to keep the integrity of our forum intact?

Question #2 - I have been here paying for over 10 years - paying for ad removal is paying to forumotion, isn't it?

Question #3 - Is this new no activity policy the reason why now, in addition to the widget problem, I can set the forum to view either the Portal or the Forum, but not both?

Question #4 - Is this new no activity policy somehow screwing with the custom domain linkage?

Question #5 - Is paying money to forumotion for ad blockage and domain name not taken into consideration before deliberately screwing up the forum because of low activity points?

Question #6 - Since I have already pre-paid for a year of ad blockage and domain mame before this new policy was implemented, is there a refund policy about this? And where do I ask about a refund?

Do you have Javascript enabled on your forum by chance? Also was this placed "In all Pages" like the tutorial suggests?

EDIT: I just tested this on my test forum which is ModernBB as is your forum version it shows. So it may be something to do with ModernBB as that tutorial is from 2015 and ModernBB is fairly new. So it may have to do with the forum version you are using!

EDIT #2: I have tested all forum versions and that is in all of them at this time so there must be something that isn't working in that code properly and would need to be edited out! You may want to ask in that thread to see if anybody has a quick fix for this!

Description of problem

I have problem with forumotion packages. I think it's broken or something else, because it looks like on screen #1 and screen #2. Screen #3 shows forumotion packages on my another forum. I see difference between my forums. Both has phpbb3 and they're very similar, so I think that one of my forum has broken this menu. But I am not sure.

How to make a button for clicking to gain experience and money?

I want a source clicking feature which stacks a number per the amount of clicks of a particular user.
It involves making a java/flash source that's affected per the amount of clicks to a url action source.

I suggest adding this feature to the game console section as well so future users can make auto clicking based servers also.

Here's the format I have that may help a bit.

Example #1
[Content Gain 'unspecified/specified item/etc' from > = link], [link to trigger = gain content at the source because of the use of this link]

Example #2
Also I want to define different values such as gold, silver and bronze, 1 gold is worth 10 silver, 1 silver is 10 bronze, this will help me define 1b also and numbers above that.
[Gain 1 gold if [specified or click 10 silver link]] This is so complex that I can't explain it perfectly but if you can just answer the first basic example.

I only want to trigger something if someone clicked my link.

when you say No button what part are you talking about?
#1 in your members profile on the tabs ?
#2 the button on the left in the screen shot?


For #1 you need to make sure the settings are turned on in 2 places.

Admin panel:
ACP >> Users & Groups tab >>  Users >> Profiles
General options tab >> Activate advanced profile : YES
Visitor messages YES

Members Profile:
Your members Must have this turned on in their profile for this to show up.
press your profile button in your navbar.
find the Preferences tab >> Allow visitor messages on my profile : Set to how you wish. SAVE.

For#2
ACP >> Display tab >>  Pictures and Colors >> Pics management >>  Advanced Mode >>
Find the Buttons tab >> scroll down to Post new private message : and make sure you have a button there.
