I'm back: Domain Problem, again~

Hi, so I've been coming to Forumotion every month or two PMing Admins, making threads and whatnot asking that I, Quater, of www.wayoftheninja.org be made the main admin of the site instead of the Founder: Punkfilter.

The reasons why?
- The Founder left
- The Founder left it to me
- The Founder was last online, Jan 16, 2010 and didn't make a post
- The Founder quit, along with 2 other Admins in our staff, back in October of 2008

This was my last thread. The reasons why I wasn't made the Main Admin was because: The Founder had been online and looked around 2 weeks prior. Well it's been 3 months. So do you believe that he's quit or do I need to wait another 3 months while my site lacks the benefits that could be gained from making me head Admin?
The other reason was that the Domain was renewed.

I'm sorry, but what do I gotta do? I've brought this complaint up in PM's and threads and I am getting the opposite of help. I was told by the staff here that my forum was still be ran by a guy who is long gone.

Now I've got no beef with Forumotion. Love the site. Been using it for 3 years to host my forum. Had some bumps along the way but they were minor. Forumotion is really helpful, fun, easy to use and I am a big fan. I want to use it to make other forums in the future.

But come now, you guys gotta help me with this. My request is simple, take away the Main Admin Status of the long gone founder and give it to me, the Admin who has been active and worked his butt off. There isn't a single user on my website who doesn't see me as the site's Main Admin. And someday I'd like to be able to leave my website in the good hands of someone else, but I can't necessarily do that if I don't have main admin powars.

Plus I can't buy and active stuff. ^^ I want to activate WOTN Gallery system for the users.

Also, I want to be able to rebuild my site if it gets hacked. And since I don't have the Password...I'm skeerewed.
So please check on this for me.

Have to wait 6 months and one day in order to get the founder account. Till then nothing can be done unless you ask for the password of the account of the founder who left.

He's been gone for a year and a half!

You just said he's been gone since Jan 2010.

I said he got online once.

So in case he randomly pops online and looks around I have to consider him an active Founder?

He's been gone for a year and a half. An admin that is his friend popped in in October of 2008 and told us he and the Founder were quitting. And they quit.

They've hardly made any posts since then.

He got online maybe 2 or 3 times. And one of these times is January 17th, 2010.

He made no posts, answered none of the dozens of emails or PM's I've sent him and went offline.

Now come on. I have to wait another 3 months because this guy is an active Founder of the site?

The account must be 100% not logged in to for 6 months. Typlo is the only one that handles that but since he's away till Monday nothing can be done till then.

I don't mind waiting till Monday. But waiting another 3 months after I've been waiting 18 months is not cool at all.

I am a http://wayoftheninja.org user, and I think that Quater should get the main admin sooner than July, because the main admin hasn't posted in forever.

This guy has over 100,000 posts on the website, and does all the News things and everything, he's been doing this for 2 years or so, and hasn't had any MAIN admin abilities.

He should get them.

You do know, if he logs in ONCE, it resets the 6 months timer. Therefore, if you wanted the forum THAT bad, you should have jumped on it as soon as you could.

So it's my fault that he logged in once? My site should be held accountable for the fact he logged in and did nothing.

The very fact you think I should have jumped on it proves that this rule isn't in place because he's not a good admin.

I am a member of Way Of The Ninja and Quater, not Punkfilter, is the founder.

Seriously, Punkfitler is nothing to the site, does nothing, doesn't check emails, messages anything. It's been forever.. seriously =/

I think the only reason he came on in January was to see how much failure or success the site had without him.

The fact that Punkfilter posted saying he was leaving the site should be all we really need. The other admins left and, to be honest, should not have the power any more. When Quater is trying hard to help and keep the forums going.

I would also like to note that the other admins only come on to use there power to mess with people. Or thats the only time I have seen them on.

I once had my password changed. Why? One of the old Admins got mad at me over telling the other posters of Way of the ninja goodjob on something we did without the old admins help.

The fact that he logged on and did NOTHING should be taken in.

To ForuMotion, it doesn't matter what you guys think. I'm sorry but, he MUST wait until July to purchase the forum from Typlo.
