Whats your forum version & which background color do you want to change? The one where username's list is displayed?

I am using phpBB2 sir and I would like to change the both background that I point in the preview screenshot on the thread starter.

This is the problem sir why I wanted to change my chatbox BG color.As you can see I send a message through chatbox but,the message has its own background color.

You need to add this to your css, after changing the colors to whatever you like. Hope that helps.
