First you need to create a page before adding a link to the nav bar.
go to admin panel-> modules -> html management

create a new page called affiliates... then create the page: add your affiliate buttons and so on ans so forth...
after you are complete save the html page.

then go to display-> navigation and headers -> add custom nav bar
in menu type in affiliates
in picture you can add an image
in text you will see the hover text and
in url you paste the address of the html page you just created...

check the permissions and save

I'll post my problem here, since i've created my page exactly as described above.

Everything is ok, except one thing: permissions are not set right.
Non-members can't see the link for the page, but they can view the page if they know the address.
So if they manually type the address i.e. mrcl.darkbb.com/mypage.html , they can see the page even though they are not logged in.

If guest types the address mrcl.darkbb.com/memberlist.forum , (s)he is redirected to the login page.
Permissions for memberlist page and the page i've created are identical (Administrators, Moderators, Members), so i'm wondering how can i restrict access to my page to members only.

Tnx in advance

Well seeing as we do not have access to mySQL data , we can't really block the html page.
basically all html pages have to accept non members.
