AdSense Scripts In portal

Why wont scripts in java format work in the portal? I can use it in the homepage but that very same code won't work in the portal..Why??

Yes.I have the same problem.I put the code from my google adsense in the Welcome messege and it works perfectly.When i put it in new blok on the portal, it doesn't show up

I can use the script for the google search box in the portal but nothing else.
There must be a setting for it somewhere.

A basic question, Is it allowed for forum administrators to add AdSense Scripts in the forums and portals?

I worked it out!

Heres what you do:

Go to: Admin Panel>Modules>HTML Pages Management>Create a New Page!

Then Paste your AdSense HTML Code Here and Save it with a Name! (I.E: AD)

Then Go to: Admin Panel>Modules>Portal Pages Management>Structure>Create a Custom Block!

Then Paste this:

<center><iframe width="488" height="90" src="Put the link of the Ad Page you Created Above!" frameborder="Do you want a Border? If so Put 1 here if not put 0!" scrolling="no" allowTransparency="Do you want the Whiteness to disappear? If so put 10 if not put 0!"></iframe></center>

The HTML Code above is for a 468 x 60 Ad, I can work out sizes for the other Ad Sizes if wanted! Just Say here!

Could you gve me some more process how to add an adsense with respct to text ads only?

It only works when i preview my portal but in the actual viewing it's not working,

If you don't ask, they can't answer. That's my general philosophy. But now I've got a quick question. Why on Earth would you actually WANT ads on your forum? Don't people pay to get rid of them?

Putting Google Adsense is just like showing the Donation buttons in your website.

but when i enter that in.. and look in the protal all it shows is a piece of my homepage instead of the ad... can any1 help me on this please, thanks.

Does this work with portal or can i plaece it over at my forum? as there is a Adsense by forumotion on the top.

Where else can i place it and how to go about it?

I'm keen to place it over at the forum not portal provide it does not violate forumtion regulations.

hmm yes by doing this ads is showing.. i want to ask .. does this edited code will works perfectly fine? that by click on shown ads... we earn money...? by changing the script does it damages it? tell me cuz i dnt hve learned html

Yes, removing comments ( thats what's /* text */ and // text ) doesn't do a thing
