For #1 you need to make sure the settings are turned on in 2 places.

Admin panel:
ACP >> Users & Groups tab >>  Users >> Profiles
General options tab >> Activate advanced profile : YES
Visitor messages YES

Your members Must have this turned on in their profile for this to show up.
press your profile button in your navbar.
find the Preferences tab >> Allow visitor messages on my profile : Set to how you wish. SAVE.

Find the Buttons tab >> scroll down to Post new private message : and make sure you have a button there.

Hi. I finally got my boards set up in my group. Thanks you were very helpful but I got a small problem. All my boards are showing up in my group except for 4. Message Board,Rules Board as #1, then #2. And the M.I.A. Board, and the Prayer Board which is #15, and then #16. Please help. Why are they not showing up.

Yes i can help here.
we have 3 lots of backups
1, every day our end (office use only)
2, every 7 days for (server cleaning)
3 14 days (Admin tools)

how this works:
if our system went down then #1 comes in to play this is so we can make sure all your data is not lost when the sites come back online.

Now and then we need to do work on some servers so we make a backup of your forum to the date of every 7 days this is then used if we do a update to our system or any other part of the sites tools and layout.
so if say we have a new update and it comes live it will show on your tools that's when #2 comes in to play

Now #3 well this is the dates that our system will make a backup for you to fix problems on your site.
some times if there is a problem and the date you want to backdate it to is not showing you can ask a staff member to ask the head office to do a backup for you but this can only be done Monday to Fridays 8am to 5pm French time as the office is closed after 5pm

But note not all the time can we do a full tools backup on the 14th day so it may show at a later date or just before.

I hope that helps a little on how our system works.

I have a forum where we post photos and messages from twitter and instagram about a celebrity.

Since I use PUNBB, I understand I cannot embed a twitter or instagram photo and message in my post. It looks like embedding a photo and message associated with a tweet and/or instagram message only works with phb2. https://help.forumotion.com/t127020-is-there-anyway-to-embed-tweets

Thus, I post photos from tumblr, where the tumblr owners have posted photos and messages from twitter and instagram.

I noticed something strange when I post photos and messages from tumblr of tweets and instagram messages.

First I copy the image from tumblr into my post.

Then I copy the caption (from the tumblr image) of the tweet. In this case, here is the caption written by the person who tweeted this photo:

I see this in my post as I am composing:

I will ~~post~~ type in my comments in my post and perhaps include more tumblr images (of twitter or instagram photos/messages) after this first image.

So as I am composing, I will see in my text box the following: Image #1 (a twitter photo with a FULL caption underneath it), plus my comments, plus Image #2 (photo plus caption):

Then I will hit "Send."

However, after I hit "Send," in my completed post, instead of seeing the above (Image #1 which is photo plus full caption, plus my typed comments that follow Image #1, plus Image #2), I only see this:

So the first image no longer has the FULL caption underneath the photo. Plus, my typed comments that followed Image #1, as well as the second image (photo with caption) has disappeared from my post.

I have tested this out several times, by deleting the emoticon (the happy face) that followed " @NickPitera:" that was in the caption of the Image #1.

When I delete that emoticon (the happy face) in the caption of Image #1, I get Image #1 (with photo and FULL caption, minus the happy face emoticon in the caption), and my comments that follow Image#1, and Image # 2 (photo plus caption).

But if I leave Image # 1 in my post as it originally is (photo with Full caption, including the happy face emoticon), then all the text in the caption of Image #1 that followed that emoticon disappears, and my typed out comments that follow Image #1 and Image #2 also disappear.

I have been carefully deleting the emoticons from the captions of twitter and instagram images (and have inserted descriptive words in brackets, ie, [happy face emoticon]).

But is there a way that I can copy the tumblr images (of tweets and instagrams with photos and messages) without deleting the original emoticons, so that I do not lose the rest of the caption that follows the emoticon in Image # 1, and so I do not lose any of my comments and additional images that follow Image #1?

I have allowed HTML, so I don't think that is the problem.

Love them. Skouliki's take on the animations are awesome... although it is really my fault I forgot to ask in the request could you please recolour the eyes to a shade of purple? I couldn't find the picture with purple or violet eyes and had to settle on that, if it is too much trouble I am happy with these ones though.

EDIT: If you're up for the recolour Skouliki the first one you did is my preferred one.

EDIT [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]: I also noticed when I put it on a dark background to test it out the image had a bit of white outline left (probably from when you made it) but it is along the lower half of the image and looks pretty bad. Could that be removed also? It just looks a little bad with the dark background of the site.

#1: Is the attachment 20 MB (Megabytes) restriction only per post or out absolutely (unrestrictedly) all uploads on the message board
such as my message board for example?

To do it in Invision, just add that same code I gave you to your CSS Stylesheet and it will still work. Since it is CSS Code, it won't matter what forum version you are on. Also to add onto what {@=102811}Forumedic{/@} mentioned, if you want to rearrange where the links are, follow these steps below.

Step {#}1{/#}: Open Administration Panel
Step {#}2{/#}: Click Display Tab
Step {#}3{/#}: Click "Headers & Navigation" under Homepage
Step {#}4{/#}: Use the arrow buttons to the left of the Navigation links to move them into a different order.
Step {#}5{/#}: Click Save! (Note: This may or may not be needed, just added it to be safe!)

Yes I have tried all of them without result. The directory services are not updating too fast especially the images the problem remains from last year.

Link #2 the image is not updated long time ago(last year).

Im on mobile, the internet browser on an android mobile. I can see that the color has changed now thanks a lot ange, this only leaves these last two things:
1) how do i position the text under profile and search to the left just like this support forum?
2) there are these links above it (my profile, new pm, etc..) How do i remove them from there?

Edit: fixed number 2 but the link colors in it is green-ish, can you change them to white for me and tell me how?

A request for redirect codes

Hello. I checked the FAQ and didn't see anything that could help me. I may not know what to look for though.

I hope I posted in the right section as well. Anyway, I want two things...

1) Redirects the user to a specific thread after they register - Basically I created a HTML page new members with important links on it for new members. Now I need a code to redirect them to it after they register.

2) Redirects the user to a specific thread after they post in another specific thread - I'm trying to create a step by step guide so once the member posts the required information in one thread they are redirected to the next thread containing the next step in the guide.

I'm not sure if #2 is possible but I believe #1 is. If #2 isn't possible a different way to make it happen would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Well #1 if you were IP Banned its probably because you are no longer wanted on the site. #2 is your phone using your house wifi? Or does it have its own source?
