I tried to edit with a javascript in Javascript codes management, but the code doesn't work.

This is true, however, I disagree with this being a "rule". It doesn't seem fair to disable a founder access to edit the chatbox when there are probably millions of different possibilities for the design of the chatbox alone. Also, there are defined styles in the chatbox that can't be changed by using the CSS Stylesheet. Withholding this doesn't seem fair in my opinion, especially considering how much someone can change the look of the chatbox.

I'm not telling you it wouldn't be usefull to edit the templates of the Chatbox. I'm telling you that it's wasn't supposed to be editable, that's why this was fixed. But when a template isn't editable, there are reasons... (advanced profiles can't be edited because there is ads on it, for example). I'm pretty sure there is a reason for the chatbox too.

I understand that, but when I think of what reasons there are for this, none seem to come to mind.

If there was a reason, it would be beneficial to know what.
