Guests voting on polls

I have a poll going at the moment here: http://www.rosetalkaustralia.com/t1548-vote-for-your-favourite-november-2011-photo-calendar-entry

The permissions are set to allow guests to vote in the categories and forums section of the ACP but I have received feedback that guests are unable to vote. All they see is the poll results. If someone can look at the link and let me know whether they are able to vote or not I would appreciate it. If they can't can someone make a suggestion about what it is I might have done wrong to exclude guests from being able to vote?

Yep, the guest can only see the result. Are you sure you set the permissions correct for that specific forum? Please post a screenshot.

Can you check for the specific thread by editing the first post, as to whether the poll got over after 10 days or something?

I set the close of voting to 21 days. It is meant to end on the 20th of December. It is still active. Members are still votnig now.

Hi!

Have you done the following:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Users & Groups Tab
3. Users options (on the left, under Users)
4. Select 'Allow guests to vote : Yes'

no because I only want to give guests permission to vote on this forum. Not the whole site.

Try doing what base said & lets see if it allows to atleast vote for that specific forum or others as well.

Yes & just keep it on for the thread link you posted.

If you turn on the settings then it will enable guests to vote worldwide, however you can disallow guests per forum using the specific forum permissions. Smile
