Defamation going on Tagged about Forumotion

Hello,

Recently i discovered that some people are talking about viruses in my forum http://taglisted.creatingforum.com.
After reporting this to Tagged i got a lousy answer that didn't helped at all.

Now i see that these post continues and saying actually that the host Forumotion is the one containing the virus.
Myself i don't believe this is true but other people on tagged might.

The group where these post are made http://www.tagged.com/scampolice is sorry to say private.

Maybe its best to report this group.

forumotion dose not have any virus if it is something showing up on your site then it is either a add or something someone has added to their forum.
It can also be a false positive as well.

Run you scans and track down the sources. Bit it is nothing to with forumotion forums, they would not put virus on there forums... LOL

I ran a scan on your page and am not getting anything, so my guess is they are getting something come through from something that was added to a post or the site or ad some how?? Once again it could be a false positive as well. this happens a lot with people who use Norton.

Other then be sure you check anything you may be adding with coding or ad's, runs scans for your self as well. Or if you can get screens shots of the messages coming up or what the virus is?

I dont understand what you mean by this, you have members from this group posting on your forum saying forumotion has virus? If that's what you mean then. LOL, they are spamming and full of it..

If that is not what you mean, then please explain more..

Of course there is no virus.

What i mean is that this Tagged group has members that are also on my forum and the person spamming is making these people not coming to my forum.

I have no idea if this person is only spreading these messages on there or also on other sites. What concerns me is that people actually listen to that virus crap and its not helping me or forumotion.

I reported this group to Tagged before and i just did again now, somehow Tagged isn't doing any about it.

Next to all that i just want to share this on Forumotion.

Well make a global announcement that it is all false information and to ignore any spammers that get in spreading the garbage.

Then if you have a member that is unsure, tell them to come here and ask,
Also be sure you ban the spammers/people that are spreading such nonsense.

As far as reporting this group, i am not sure if they are on a host or their own server, i guess you have to track down the domain, then do a little research on where to report them.. You can also call your service provider and ask them,

You know if they are on their own server it may be a little harder, plus someone just spamming and not really being able to prove if it's from this group or not can be a little hard as well, but report it anywhere you can.

Other then that just keep banning anyone that comes in spreading the nonsense.
