Solved Border and Calander

Post by XDirect12345 on December 18th 2011, 8:36 pm

The link to my forum is http://xdirect12345.forummotion.com

Is there any code to create a border around the forum and make it have a glow and shadow feel to it?
Like this

Second, is there any way to fix the calander. As you can see in the picture below, there is a red thing and you can barely see the number. Is there a way to remove that and just make it with a different color and a different text color?

Hihi, that's a image. Anyway, you can do amazing things with css3, would be like:
Code:
td.bodyline{
border: 1px solid #0000EF;
box-shadow: 0px 0px 5px #0000EF;
}

Second:
Code:
form[name="_calendar"] table.forumline tbody tr td[width="14%"] {
background-color: #111313 !important;
}
Note: add this code after all css codes you have in stylesheet. Wink

It looks to me like you need to go to >>Admin Panel>>Modules>>Forum widgets management>>
and add your calendar there. You need to break your forum up into columns. Maybe 2 columns is all you need. Put all your widgets including (calendar) on the left or right column.

If you don't want to do that consider adding some break tags <br><br> to your "Categories and forums" where it looks like your Calendar is.

Go to >>Admin>>General>>Categories and forums>> And click a category you want to add the <br><br> tags to. Add the tags in the HTML box on top the calendar and under the calendar code. Add more break tags if needed or take some away.

You definitely have some issues with design on your forum. I think adding your calendar in the widgets management section to break your forum up in columns is the way to go.

I just want to get rid of the area marked in red, either that or remove the calender.
