Flash with link

I was looking to do a few swf's for users signature, mostly vendors.

Now, I've got the flash displaying in the signature through this format:

[flash(420,75)]http://www.muddyrivermashers.com/ndbrewers/hopmarkers.swf[/flash]

There is a link on the original flash and that does work:
Hopmarkers.swf


Do links not work on swf's? I've even tried adding the URL around the Flash tag:

That code is working.

Nope, still doesn't go anywhere for me. I tried in both Chrome and IE. What browser are you in?

Ndbrewer try with Mozilla.

Firefox. Checked my signature?

Jumped on the other computer, and yep, it does work in Firefox. Any thoughts on why it the code wouldn't be compatible in other browsers?

I don't know. Why not go on Mozilla sometimes goes on Chrome. Why not go on Chrome sometimes goes on Opera. Some browsers have backlogged bugs. Each browser with his problems. No one is perfect.

I'm well aware that all browsers are a little different, otherwise I wouldn't need to have 5 installed. I was just hoping there might be a working around for this particular tag.

make sure you have the flash plugins installed/enabled for the other browsers.
If if you make sure your browsers are up to date that should auto fix as well, unless you have the plugins and they are not enabled?
