Some DNS ERRORS
Hi,
I ve tested my Forum and there are some DNS Errors.
http://www.intodns.com/schiggysboard.com
http://www.dnssy.com/report.php?q=schiggysboard.com
Because we all were on one server, we all have the same Errors.
Can a tecnikan fix them? - It gives Problems with Some tools.

ERRORS:
and:Connecting to MX 75.126.156.26: I was unable to connect to the SMTP port on 75.126.156.26. I only waited 5 seconds, so it may be that your mail server is slow, or may not be responding. Skipping further tests for 75.126.156.26 Fail
Connecting to MX 176.9.102.185: I was unable to connect to the SMTP port on 176.9.102.185. I only waited 5 seconds, so it may be that your mail server is slow, or may not be responding. Skipping further tests for 176.9.102.185
SOA Serial Match: Your nameservers returned different SOA serial numbers. This probably means that they are not synchronised properly.
Nameserver A records match nameserver glue: The glue provided by your namserver does not match the A records for the namservers. The following problems were found:
ns1.dnspro.org (74.86.194.136 != 74.86.112.134)
NSs have same SOA serial Looks like your nameservers do not agree on the SOA serial. Ths SOA records as reported by your nameservers:
74.86.194.139 -> 2012032413
174.36.123.110 -> 2012032317
This can cause some serious problems that is why you should fix this asap.
All same SOA Not all of your nameserver respond with the same SOA record. This can be a problem, since they are supposed to act exacly opposite.
Same Serial Number Your nameservers are using different serial numbers.
REFRESH The SOA REFRESH value determines how often secondary nameservers check with the master nameserver for updates.Your SOA REFRESH value is 10800 seconds which is very high (about 3600-7200 seconds is good althought RFC1912 2.2 recommends a value between 1200 to 43200 seconds).
Warning:
CNAME Lookup There is one or more CNAMEs record pointing to www.schiggysboard.com.. This can cause extra bandwidth usage since the resolution of www.schiggysboard.com. is done in multiple steps. However this is only a warning!
Glue at parent nameserver: Glue is not provided from parent nameserver to your nameservers. This means they did not provide the IP address of your nameservers, so an extra step is required to resolve your domain, giving slower lookup times. This is common if your nameservers are in a different TLD than your domain name. The following nameservers did not have glue:
ns2.dnspro.org
ns1.dnspro.org
Number of nameservers: You have only 2 nameservers, which is the minimum allowed. There is a chance that they could both fail simultaneously. Although not necessary, you should consider increasing the number of nameservers to 3.

Re: Some DNS ERRORS
Its not on his forums he's used test sites.
FM does not have only one server.
And those errors are nothing to worry about.

Re: Some DNS ERRORS
how would you be able to fix it,
I would not even pay attention to that, it is all on forumotions end have no control over any of this.
Now if you had a site on your own server, then you could do whatever needed to be done. But it's really nothing to worry about, If and when forumotion servers go down there is nothing we can do but wait..
However although time to time a forumotion server4 may be down, It is usually not long before it is back up and running
oh i tested a bunch of different domains and sub domains.. It seems nothing will pass 100%, there is always a couple fails coming up accordion to that???
But once again it is not going to effect your forum it's all on forumotions servers end
