Solved HTML Question: Page Title

Post by Nahtan-Syab on May 23rd 2012, 11:40 am

Okay. Here's what i'm wondering.

I have several HTML page ideas in my head right now, and i'm ready to start working. However, I noticed something.

I name my pages to my liking, but the title that's in the actual link has a "H" followed by a number next to my chosen title. Example:

forumotion.com/h1-blah blah

Is there a way to remove this code? Thanks!

No that's the URL given. The title you type is for the title of the page not for the URL.

I can't change the name of the URL given? My page is title "Staff List" and the URL output is /h2-staff-list. I can't change that to /Staff list?

I have seen forumotion hosted HTML pages with the "h" at the end of the title.

Is that not possible?

That's the old style of HTML urls before forumotion changed it, and now do all the URL rewriting server side.

Alright, was just hoping for something easier to type for our members. It's easier to type "/Staff List" than it is "/h1-Staff-List". There's no way I could pay extra for this feature?
