PM button disappearing

The PM button picture disappears when a PM is sent, the only way for us to access our PMs is to log in via the email notification link for a new PM. after reading a PM the button stays visible until a new PM is sent.

Any ideas?
all members including admins are having this issue.

Try to check all your images: Go to your ACP >> Display >> Pictures and Colors >> Pics management >> Advanced Mode >> click the buttons >> check their if the PM button have the correct images.

Try this :

Forum > Profile > Preferences > Find " Allow members to send me private messages : " then tick " Yes "

That should be done by every member.

thank you both but tried this already. pic is present and correct. all profile and admin settings look to be correct to.

when i sign in to the forum via the web my pm button is there and functions correctly.when i receive a pm my button vanishes so i have to click the link in the notification email and sign in to forum that way to get my pm button back.

im wondering, could this be a skin issue?

Does that mean the NEW PM button vanishes or the PM button? That would mean you don't have it. Can you post your forum URL?
