What can I do?

I used to be an administrator of a forum until I handed it over 2 years ago to two other people.

Since this time I have had multiple complaints regarding the forum and the lack of attendance by the administrators. When I went on to check, I noticed that the administrators haven't been on for over 5 months.

Is there anything I can do about this? I know I can't take the forum back but it's very upsetting to know that the forum is just sitting there in cyber space, unattended, and members are emailing/PMing me still every 5 minutes with complaints and reports of spam, etc.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a real issue!

Well you can use this link and try and get your founder account back to you and it will make you the founder & Administrator of the forum so you can fix this!

Anytime!

When your problem is solved you can edit your first post of the thread and click on the "Solved" icon near the top and re-send you post. That will add the solved icon and will notify the staff that your issue is solved and can be moved

Ok, thanks for that.

On reading the link it seems that there may not be anything I can do. I can't get in touch with one of them, and the other is not talking to me due to a disagreement we had a year ago.

It can't bear to watch the site sit there in cyber space, surely I can either report the site, get it deleted or ???
Doesn't seem right that there is nothing I can do???

Hello,

You said the administrators were absent for over 5 months.
If the new founder is absent for more than 6 months, you can request to take back the administration of the forum, like explained here : https://help.forumotion.com/t81878-recovery-or-change-founder-of-an-account
