News Widget?

Is there any kind of news widget I can put on my forum? Like one that is free, simple, and that I can easily change.

You can use something like

http://widgets.feedzilla.com/news/builder/index.html

to build the widget and paste the code into the widget for your site!!

What to do is select top news and then in the sub category select all.

I don't mean that, I mean something that I can use to set custom news myself. So instead of actual news, I want to display my site's news.

Let's just say that I want text in a widget on my site. I want to be able to easily and quickly change that text.

You need to do it manually, its not really a feed then. A feed is something that will auto update.
