Solved Gradient username

Post by RPM on January 24th 2013, 7:26 pm

is there a way to make a gradient username, let alone gradient text? I saw in on another site, but the code doesn`t work on mine. Here is the code they use:
Code:
[gradient=FF0000 color=00FF00]text here[/gradient]

I know what gradient is , and i posted this because u can see examples of codes used to change names color,etc.. So you can use that codes and make it work for gradient.

Well, the closes would be this: http://www.malware-site.www/t110-how-to-have-rainbow-usernames

I don't think "gradients" is possible..

I think what RPM wants is the ability to type in a bbcode such as this,
[gradient=FF0000 color=00FF00]text here[/gradient]
and have the "text here" be a gradient from FF000 (red) to 00FF00 (blue).

Caliburn,

RPM, wants to create usernames with gradients, not a BBcode button I believe.

Yes. That`s what I want. I want to be able to plug in a colour to either side (next to the "=") and then the text inside the code to become a gradient from the first colour to the 2nd colour.

He's not looking for rainbow usernames apparently. He's looking for a way to create gradient text through use of BBCode without having to do it by hand.

Rideem3 wrote:You can't really do that.

You can do this:
Code:
[table][tr][td style="background-color:#FFF;background-image:-moz-linear-gradient(#fff,#000);background-image:-webkit-gradient(linear,0% 0,0% 100%,from(#fff),to(#000));background-image:-webkit-linear-gradient(#fff,#000);background-image:-o-linear-gradient(#fff,#000);background-image:-ms-linear-gradient(#fff,#000);"]Test[/td][/tr][/table]

Which would look like:
Test
Ok. Wink . I`ll try to see what I can do with colors(in posts). Maybe I can make a code?
