Move the domain adress to another site?

I have a private domain adress on my forum that the previous admin have added. Can I take that adress and put it on our webpage instead? I don't know if it is the forummotions who handle the domain adress or not. When I did a search on it it said it was Go daddy but their logo looked a lot like Forummotions.
