In progress members only category and forum

i need to create a category and forum for members only. so that i can give permission only to certain users to view that category? i have no clue if i can do it or how to do it. any help would be greatly appreciated

When creating a forum, or editing a forum click on the tab "Permission" you can select who you want it to be viewed by.
