I was curious if there is a way to still have a warning bar on a forum but make it so that only staff can see them (except each individual is allowed to see their own warning bar).

I'm going to use myself as an example.

Let's say the admin here wanted to do the same idea here on Forumotion. The only people that could see my warning bar would be me and the staff. It would be invincible to the rest of the regular members.

The warning bar would still be changed only be staff but the individual would be the only one to be able to see it besides the staff.

I personally would like to be able to see this on my forum. I don't think this would hurt anyone that didn't want this feature. They could still have their warning bars visible or not have warning bars at all.

What do you guys think?

I like it. Then, you could see how many warnings you had, and the mods could see who the trouble makers are.

I've seen this implemented on another forum I am a member on (it's not a forum through Forumotion) so I've seen it in action. But I thought it was a good idea anyway.

On V Bulletin forums they have the infraction system which is similar to the warning bars. When a member gets an infraction or warning it is only visible to admins,moderators and the member who received the warning but not to other members.
This is a good idea as you don't want the other members to see a members warnings. So yes warnings should not be visible to all members,only to the staff and the member who has been warned.

This would be a nice thing to have.

The problem is that this suggestion is not doable...

Admin Panel hasnt got that option.

You can make it visible only for Admins, only for Staff or visible for all, but not only for the member and Staff.

So, if the member can see it, the rest of the members will can see it too.

I thought this was a Support forum suggestion, not a Forumotion General Suggestion thats why I was telling that it wasn´t possible to do.

Then I agree with adding this suggestion, of course, it is quite needed from my point of view and it would be a privacy increasement for the members profiles

No problem, i too sometimes confuse myself as to where its posted.

I agree with you about increasing privacy for the members profiles. That's kind of the reason why I suggested it.

You can already have it I already do have it in my forum I have a warnings for members and warnings for staff only you will just have to make another warning set then set it for the only members you want from their profiles in ACP
