Custom domain name change

My forum currently has the custom URL of www.matureps3gamers.com which was provided free of charge by Forumotion and it is up for renewal in 51 days and I was wondering whether its possible to change the custom url to a different URL name. Do I have to wait for the current URL to expire before I can change it?

So I need to wait until the current URL expires then I can change the forum name. Do you mean delete the forum or delete the forum name? The forum has been running for nearly 4 years so I don't want to restart it.

So I have to wait 50 days for my current URL to expire then I can change the URL via forumotion using credits. If I buy a domain elsewhere can I change my URL early or do I still need to wait 50 days before I can change it?

You can make a request now for your domain to be deleted. Once it is deleted, you can book a new domain name.
