Let members create their own simple group
Members can create their own group/club
I would like to suggest this feature. Let members can create their own group/club in the forums. Just a simple group/club will do. They don't have to show up in the legend, just in the group list.
It will be useful for RPG forums or forums like mine. It can be called CLUBS or something. So when they create their own club/group, they will have their own forum automatically for discussions.
~>An example<~

Re: Members can create their own group/club
They can simply request a forum (or club) to be created by their Admin. Its not that difficult to create one for them.

Re: Members can create their own group/club
The members that want a group can just ask their administrator for one.
If members can create their own group without asking the admin or moderator for it then I can see how it can lead to problems. You don't want members creating groups that are offensive to someone else on the forum. If the administrator has to create the group, then it is not without someone moderating it.

Re: Members can create their own group/club
I agree with Bazinga, there are many problems related to it. What about permissions, who will set the permissions. Its an unfeasible feature.

Re: Members can create their own group/club
I voted no, Considering the confusion this would bring to the forums, And also alot of forums would have 30 moderator or admin groups, although they would have no moderator or admin powers, they would still try and act like mods, Even probably threating members. ~Zacbonic/Albinotiger

As Bazinga! said, it could lead to lots of problem and complications.
Re: Members can create their own group/club
What would be a better suggestion would be something similar to Vbulletin's style of Social Groups which is basically a group can discuss in and then post messages etc and you basically can monitor who joins and change some basic permissions.
In this suggestion I could see things going horribly wrong but a social group idea like Vbulletin has wouldn't be too harmful as you aren't really editing permissions as such.
