Try a screenshot of the chatbox rules, then get the image location and use a java script code (online program) Forumotion should have a chatbox management to place that code or put it in the CSS. I'm deeply sorry I use codes from websites that support them, but hope this gives you an idea of what you could do!

Sadly I don't think using a default chatbox on phpbb3 s possible as the only thing I found required template editing which is found in phpbb2 and PunBB.
