Graphic Designer and Forum Owner Rights

I know someone who I gave an administrator position in my forum. He put up a lot of his own graphics that I liked a lot that were designed specifically for the forum. No agreement or statement was made for this, except that he agreed to make the graphics for this forum. He decided to leave without any notice and took it all off. If the creator does not want me to put it back up, can the forum get banned for me to put it back up? 

If it helps he has a very simplistic symbol that anyone can make in the corner that is his signature that somehow proves it is his and he didn't take it from somebody else.
