Solved Removing area between navbar and forum tables

Post by Soulmonster on November 26th 2013, 9:25 pm

Hi,

After getting great help earlier today removing one area I have returned for more help Smile. I have just moved my navbar onto the header area. This left a rather large empty space between my navbar and the "forum table". See picture:

Is it possible with CSS to remove this area, as indicated with the red arrows?

My forum is here: http://www.saltvannsprat.com/

Thanks!

Hello Soulmonster,

You should instead use this selector to position your navbar, otherwise you will leave that space there. Removing it will cause the removal of the linklist.

Code:
.headerbar+.navbar

or

.navlinks
Remove the positioning off of your .mainmenu items, and try this CSS instead:
Code:
.headerbar+.navbar{
position:absolute;
top:148px;
background:transparent;
}
ul.navlinks{
border:none;
}

That worked perfectly! Thanks again Very Happy
