BlackScorpion is a former member of the Designer group of the support forum, so you have get examples from an experienced designer.

You couldn't of picked a worse logo to try and use for your forum. The fine scroll lines are extremely aliased causing them to appear white or pix-elated.

I made one with just the white removed and one with the scroll lines darkened.

These are the best I can do. You might be able to get a better job done but I think it would take a pro and take a lot of time to do which would not be free labor I'm sure.
